Water Level Decrease and Ice Phenomena Destruction on Lviv Rivers
Overview of the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region as of 08:00 on March 06, 2025:
Most of the rivers in the region experienced a slight decrease in water levels by 1 – 8 cm, with only a few rivers showing an increase in water levels by 1 – 5 cm per day.
On river sections with ice cover, gradual weakening of ice phenomena continued, with some rivers clearing of ice completely.
The water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester was 0.0 – 1.2°, while in the rest of the region’s rivers it was 1.8 – 5.0°.
