An attempt to illegally import goods under the guise of humanitarian aid across the Ukrainian-Polish border was stopped by border guards together with customs officers at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint
A 57-year-old Polish citizen traveled to Ukraine in a Ford minibus. According to the documents submitted for verification, the driver was moving humanitarian aid weighing 7,800 kg. At the initiative of operatives, they decided to check the vehicle more thoroughly. In the course of which, border guards together with customs officers established that the recipient of humanitarian aid does not expect and does not cooperate with this charity fund.
According to this fact, the customs officials drew up a protocol. Merchandise, including new clothing, footwear and sporting goods, has been removed. The pseudo-philanthropist also got rid of the minibus for attempting to illegally import goods. The assessment amount is set.
