Stories of UNBROKEN children in photos: UNBROKEN Kids and SPARTAK STRC raise funds for the rehabilitation of child victims of war

This Sunday, October 8, a social project will start in Lviv – a photo exhibition of stories of patients of the Children’s Rehabilitation Center UNBROKEN Kids. All the heroes of this project are children who suffered as a result of landmine and gunshot wounds. The goal is to collect funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of every child who became a victim of the war in Ukraine.

Organizers: National rehabilitation center NEZLAMNI, based on the First TMO, and STRC SPARTAK.

Presentation of the project – at 2:00 p.m. in the SPARTAK shopping center (2nd floor).

Special guests – participants of the photo project:

Yana Stepanenko, ambassador and patient of the UNBROKEN Kids Children’s Rehabilitation Center;
Stas Lyakh, a patient of the UNBROKEN Kids Children’s Rehabilitation Center.

We will remind you that Yana Stepanenko lost both legs during the shelling of the Kramatorsk railway station. After a year of rehabilitation and prosthetics in the USA, she continues rehabilitation in Lviv.

Stas Lyakh was injured by a Russian projectile at home in Kharkiv Oblast. The rocket flew right into his room. The boy’s skull was pierced then, and an 8 cm hole was formed at the site of the impact. Now he is under the constant supervision of doctors.

“These children, like no other, know how important rehabilitation is after such complex injuries,” said the NEZLAMNI National Rehabilitation Center.
