From the beginning of 2023, the “Return Alive” competent aid fund of the army handed over to the 80th separate amphibious assault brigade equipment, equipment, as well as weapons worth UAH 49,856,693.63.
“Almost 50,000,000 hryvnias for approaching victory. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the brigade’s public relations service wrote on Facebook.
The military also published a list of the main items of assistance from the Fund received since the beginning of the year:
42 quadcopters;
45 units of daytime optics;
4 rangefinders;
3 mobile surveillance complexes;
90 tablets;
10 laptops.
In addition, the Foundation provided 88 7.62 mm machine guns and 120 ATGL-L3 hand grenade launchers to the 80th Separate Assault Brigade.
In total, since the beginning of the year, UAH 412,765,862.93 donated to the “Return Alive” accounts have become reinforcements for the brigades of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“19 military units received, among other things, weapons. 600 7.62 mm machine guns and 531 ATGL-L3 hand grenade launchers for a total of UAH 190,526,774 were handed over to DSHV units,” the Foundation reported on its Facebook page.
It is noted that the Russian Armed Forces received a total of 52 new pass-through pickups, two unmanned aerial systems “Stork-100” and one “SHARK”, 414 quadcopters, 945 radio stations, 273 charging stations, 1,263 units of mining equipment, 117 generators, 40 rangefinders, 48 modems Starlink satellite communication. Monitors, media players, projectors, medical equipment, repair tools, batteries, video cameras for drones, telescopic masts and other components were also handed over to paratroopers.
The “Return Alive” fund has been strengthening the Ukrainian army since 2014. Since February 2022, Ukrainians and caring foreigners have donated more than UAH 9 billion to the Fund for this purpose. In total, during this time, the organization received 2,654,568 donations. The amount of the average donation is UAH 3,393.
