As part of the “Summer without worries” project, agrotherapy was organized for internally displaced children from the Kyiv region. The event took place in the production cooperative “Like a bee” in the village of Bolozhinov
“Agrotherapy is not a very popular type of recreation, but it is effective in achieving our goal – to provide children with good emotions and distract them from military operations. The event takes place in a quiet and peaceful area, without worries, reminiscent of a trip to grandma’s village. I think this type of recreation will soon gain popularity,” said Taras Lozynskyi, deputy head of management and resorts of Lviv OVA.
Children had a tour of berry plantations on a bee truck, ate healthy berries straight from the bushes – strawberries and raspberries, learned about red book plant species. Afterwards, they visited the farm, where they fed the animals, hugged them, and some even rode horses. After a hearty lunch, children were treated to active games with animators and master classes. The end of the stay at the location was the baking of pizza, which the children enjoyed.
“War is a stress for everyone, especially for children. We have 30 hectares of fields where we grow organic berries. The culture of consumption of organic berries is only gaining popularity in Ukraine. Here we try to ensure a good mood for children and provide moral, emotional and vitamin support,” says Oleg Bachynskyi, one of the founders of the Yak bzhola production cooperative.
Specialists of the Lviv Regional Center of Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine took care of the children’s safety.

We will remind you that “Summer without worries” is a project organized by the Department of Tourism and Resorts in partnership with the Children’s Service of Lviv OVA for the children of orphans and internally displaced persons, the purpose of which is to relieve children emotionally from the horrors of the ongoing war in our country. It provides for meetings at tourist locations and the organization of dinners, which aim to distract children from military aggression in the summer.
The organizers encourage businesses to join the project or provide their location for holding similar events, because only with joint efforts can we resist the enemy and ensure a decent future for our descendants.
