Parking Rules in Spaces for Disabled People
Ukrainian legislation defines special parking rules for drivers with disabilities and those who transport people with limited mobility. Vehicles belonging to people with disabilities or their transporters have the right to use specially designated parking spaces, provided that they have the appropriate identification signs. A mandatory condition is the presence of the relevant documents confirming the disability on the vehicle.
Responsibility for Violating the Rules
If a driver occupies a parking space for persons with disabilities without valid reasons, they face a fine ranging from 1020 to 1700 UAH. Parking in such spaces without the appropriate permission is prohibited, as is the use of special signs without the required documents from the police driver.
Compliance with traffic rules and respect for the rights of other road users is mandatory. When parking their car, one should be attentive and conscious.
