An interactive photo exhibition dedicated to the captured defenders of Azovstal will appear in Lviv

On Sunday, September 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the park named after Ivan Franko (near the monument to I. Franko) will open an interactive photo exhibition “Believe. Like. Wait”. It is dedicated to the captured defenders of Azovstal.

The exhibition will present the works of three Ukrainian photographers – Anastasia Soroka, Solomiya Nazarko and Anastasia Krysak. In the photos that will be exhibited – mothers, fathers, wives, girls and children of captured heroes.

“This exhibition is about the cry of the souls of the closest, dearest people of the captured defenders of Azovstal. What do these people feel? How do they find the strength to fight? How faithfully do they love? Whose return are they most looking forward to? And, of course, the exhibition is also about our captive heroes – sons and daughters, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers. Who are not “Nazis” at all, as hostile Russian propaganda often tells, but Ukrainians who love their Motherland, have hobbies, talents, many dreams and plans for the future. People who are waiting at home. People who deserve to be saved”, – note the organizers of the photo exhibition.

The purpose of the exhibition is to draw the attention of Ukrainian society, the world community, international institutions and organizations to the problem of prisoners of Azovstal.

“On September 22, just before the opening of the photo exhibition, the exchange of our steel defenders took place. Finally, some of the participants of this photo project were waiting for their relatives from captivity. However, many boys and girls still haven’t returned from there. That is why we must continue to fight for them,” the project organizers add.

The photo exhibition was already partially presented in Ternopil. It can be visited in Lviv from September 25 to October 9, 2022.
