A 37-year-old man from Lviv was found guilty of possession of child pornography and its distribution (Parts 2, 3, 4 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) following a public indictment by the prosecutors of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv.
He was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
It was established that the convict downloaded graphic images containing child pornography through his mobile phone connected to the Internet.
Subsequently, the person involved repeatedly distributed the above files of a pornographic nature in the Telegram messenger.
