Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 30-year-old man was exposed and notified of suspicion for organizing the illegal transportation of a person of conscription age across the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, during martial law, the suspect facilitated the illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine by a conscript man for a monetary reward.
He valued his services at $2,000.
He was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine after he received part of the funds in the amount of 500 USD on his bank card.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Lviv region, based on the materials of the Yavoriv district department of the SBU Department in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
