During January 2023, the police units of the Lviv Oblast received 51 reports about the disappearance of minors, of which 28 related to minors. All children were searched for during the day.
No illegal actions were taken against any missing person.
All wanted persons were returned to their place of residence and handed over to their parents or legal representatives. The police officers held preventive talks with the children, as well as with their relatives.
We will remind that during the past year, the police of the Lviv region searched for all 587 missing children, 358 of them were minors. 559 missing persons were searched during the day.
The law enforcement officers remind you once again: if your child is missing (did not return home, does not get in touch, is lost on the street or in crowded places), immediately call the emergency line 102. Juvenile police officers, district police officers, operatives are immediately involved in the search for children of the criminal police, inspectors of response groups of the patrol police and other employees of the police of the Lviv region. Don’t waste precious time!
