On the highway Lviv — Bryukhovychi, the 38-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Golf Variant collided with an Audi Q8 during the oncoming turn, failing to maintain the lateral distance.
This was reported to the Patrol Police of the Lviv Region.
During communication with the culprit, signs of alcohol intoxication were found in him. A test on the Drager device showed a result of 1.52 ppm. The man received his protocols and the case is still in court.

In 11 months of this year, 165 traffic accidents with victims were registered in the territory of Lviv region, precisely because the driver was in a state of intoxication. 240 people were injured in them and, unfortunately, 17 people died.
During this period, the police of the Lviv region issued 9,029 reports against drivers who drove vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
