Accident in Lviv: Three Injured, Police Investigate Circumstances
The road traffic accident occurred on March 11, around 10:40 PM, on Shevchenko Street in Lviv.
Collision Details
According to preliminary investigations by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a Tesla, driven by a 19-year-old Lviv resident, and a Skoda Fabia, driven by a 23-year-old resident of a village in the Lviv district.
As a result of the accident, the drivers of both vehicles and a 31-year-old passenger of the Skoda Fabia, a Lviv resident, sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Investigation and Legal Consequences
Investigators from Police Department No.1 of Lviv District Police Unit No.1 have initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of Road Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article’s sanction is imprisonment for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
