The traffic accident occurred on December 12, around 4:20 p.m., on the Ternopil-Lviv-Rava-Ruska highway in the village of Hryada, Lviv district.
As previously determined by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between “Renault Master” driven by a 40-year-old resident of Pustomyty and “BMW 318” driven by a 32-year-old resident of Dublyana.
As a result of the accident, the passenger of the BMW 318, a 32-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Lviv district, received bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Lviv district police department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
