The traffic accident happened on December 8, around 11:00 a.m., on Symonenka Street in Lviv.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, a collision took place between the cars “VAZ 21099”, driven by a 44-year-old resident of Lviv, and “Nissan Rogue” driven by a 35-year-old resident of Lviv.
As a result of the accident, the driver of VAZ 21099 and his passenger, a 41-year-old woman from Lviv, were injured and taken to a medical facility.
According to the fact, investigators of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
