Yesterday, April 20, members of the Architectural and Town Planning Council at the Department of Architecture and Town Planning Development of Lviv Oblast reviewed and recommended for approval the master plans of the villages of Kunyn, Bir-Kunynskyi, Pidhirne and Myklashiv.
“The previous general plan of the village of Kunyn dates back to 1970, and Bir-Kunynskyi did not have one at all. Only Pidhirne and Myklashiv were provided with urban planning documentation at the local level, which was developed after 2011, and therefore needed to be amended. The experts’ feedback on all four projects was positive, the members of the urban planning council agreed with them, but they had a few minor comments, which the planners undertook to take into account. Summing up, we can note the trend that if earlier in urban planning documents communities emphasized the development of residential quarters, now — on a comprehensive analysis of all resources located on the territory of their settlements, and planning a strategic vision of attracting potential investors,” said the director of the architecture department and development of urban planning of Lviv OVA Olena Vasylko.
Now these master plans must be approved at the upcoming sessions of the respective village councils. They will enter into force after being entered into the urban cadastre of the region.
