During the last three waves of consideration of documents submitted by the participants of the YeRobota program to receive micro-grants for business start-up or development, Lviv Oblast consistently occupies a leading position among regions in Ukraine in terms of the number of approved positive decisions.
According to the Lviv Regional Employment Center, Lviv Oblast ranks second after Kyiv Oblast.
Thus, since the start of the program, that is, since July of this year, 229 people whose business plans were considered by the commission of the Lviv Regional Employment Center won the right to receive state funds for the organization or development of entrepreneurship.
The most common types of activities: processing industry, provision of services in the fields of education, health care, beauty, recreation, nutrition, computer programming, work in the field of trade, etc. Some of the program participants will bake bread and bakery products, make wood products, sew clothes, raise domestic animals and other types of agriculture.
“Among the applicants, there are 49 individuals who want to start their own business, 147 active entrepreneurs and 33 legal entities who will expand the boundaries of business activity. Almost 70% of the program participants are between the ages of 20 and 40, 80% have higher education. Each of them will receive funding in the amount of up to UAH 250,000, and the total amount of grant aid in the Lviv region is almost UAH 54 million,” said Vasyl Barilyuk, head of the regional employment center.
According to the submitted business plans, 529 new jobs will be created in the region.
The winners of the first four waves of application consideration have already received funds, which are used for the purchase of necessary equipment, materials, raw materials, software, payment for marketing services, advertising, rental of non-residential premises, leasing, etc.
