Today, the Mykolaiv community held a public discussion of the projects of the Development Strategy of the Mykolaiv Territorial Community until 2027 and the Action Plan for its implementation in 2024-2027.
These strategic documents were developed as publicly as possible by a working group consisting of business representatives, managers, educators, doctors, cultural figures and active residents of the community, with the support of the Lviv Regional Military Administration and experts of the USAID “HOVERLA” Project.

“It is worth noting that the managers and assets of the Mykolaiv community have a balanced approach to the formation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy, relying, first of all, on the detailed forecast of the local budget and the available opportunities to attract funds from regional, state programs and international technical assistance projects”, – noted the deputy director Vadym Tabakera of LOVA’s economic policy department.

Among the most large-scale projects planned for implementation, in particular, work has been done
– life support projects: reconstruction of treatment facilities in the city of Mykolaiv, construction of a water intake, expansion of water supply and drainage networks;
– economic: creation of an industrial park in the village of Rudnyki, development of urban planning and land management documentation, training in the agricultural sector;
– important social projects: reconstruction of buildings for the opening of an elementary school and a preschool in the village of Krynytsia, a kindergarten in the village of Hirske;
– infrastructure projects: capital repair of roads, reconstruction of Independence Square of the administrative center;
– environmental and nature protection projects, in particular energy modernization of the therapeutic building of the KNP “Mykolaivska ML”, development of water management and others.
“According to the chosen vision, the Mykolaiv community is rich in hardworking people and natural resources, a community comfortable for residents and guests on the banks of the Dniester, located on the international transport corridor “Mediterranean” (#5), within the large transit ring of the Lviv region, which offers the best in Western Ukraine, the conditions for the development of logistics and industrial production, it is famous for its building traditions, the picturesque nature of Lviv Opil, offers unique locations for lovers of green tourism and active recreation, good conditions for the development of agriculture and fisheries, recreation, and also has a deep historical heritage of the White Croats , which dates back to the 6th century,” added the Department of Economic Policy of the Lviv Oblast.
