The Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine pays all types of benefits in full
Despite the new challenges and difficulties of martial law, the amount of assistance from the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine for the duration of treatment continues to grow. Thus, according to the results of eight months of 2022, the average amount of assistance for each day of hospital stay in the Lviv region is UAH 395.2, which is 16% more than in the same period last year.
The number of days spent on sick leave in eight months of 2022 decreased by 4.5 days compared to the same period last year.
We remind you that the management of the executive directorate of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine in the Lviv region (hereinafter – the management) continues to calculate financial support on the basis of disability certificates on a daily basis, and the Fund’s specialists have worked out a mechanism for assigning payments without the involvement of the employer for insured persons whose employers remained in the occupation, do not leave to contact or are unable to guarantee payment of funds received from the Fund to employees. In such cases, payments are assigned to the insured person directly – for this, it is necessary to contact one of the administration departments at the place of registration as an IDP or registration.

In addition, the Fund’s administration in the Lviv region informs: the date of funding of hospital and maternity allowances directly depends on the date of acceptance of the statement-calculation, which the employer submits to the working body of the executive directorate of the Fund for the employee’s sick leave.
