As of now, six victims of yesterday’s rocket attack on the city are being treated in two Lviv city hospitals.
They have shrapnel wounds, various injuries to the face and limbs. Their condition is of medium severity.
“The victims received external injuries to their faces and limbs due to fragments of glass or other heavy objects that could fall and hit them. These are also shrapnel injuries. The condition is of medium severity, they are continuing treatment,” says Serhii Ishchuk, head of the reception department of the St. Panteleimon Hospital. Four patients are being treated here: a woman and three men.
Doctors continue to treat two patients at St. Luke’s Hospital. “Those hospitalized have injuries to their limbs, torso, and cut wounds. Their condition is satisfactory, they are recovering,” says Vasyl Trunkwalter, director of St. Luke’s Hospital.
According to doctors’ forecasts, inpatient treatment will continue for several more days. The youngest patient is 20 years old, the oldest is 74 years old.
It will be recalled that 10 people died as a result of yesterday’s Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Lviv. Another 48 received injuries and wounds of varying severity.
