A three-day “Cossack Fun” with elements of the game “Falcon” (“Jura”) for displaced children was held on June 17-19 at the Karpaty Children’s Tourist Base near the town of Skole. It is here that 20 schoolchildren from Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions of Ukraine temporarily live with their parents.
The entertainment program included:
1. master class on climbing “Khortytsky rocks”;
2. competition “Tent decomposition”;
3. master class on driving a sports mountain catamaran “Cossack Seagulls”;
4. competition on overcoming natural obstacles “Cossack obstacle course” (overpass, parallel cords, pendulum);
5. competition “Cossack Relay”.
The children passed each stage with great enthusiasm.
Thanks to the staff of KZ LOR “Lviv Regional Center for Local Lore, Excursions and Tourism of Student Youth” participants had the opportunity to gain new knowledge, skills and abilities in Cossack pedagogy, competing in competitions and participating in master classes.
The organizers of the event together with the Department of Education and Science of LODA wish our falconers and jurors prosperity of spiritual and physical strength, Cossack tempering and good rest!
