To the attention of residents: weather forecasters warn of extreme fire danger in Lviv region
According to the Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine in the north of the Lviv region until the end of the day on June 14 and during June 15 – 16 will remain an emergency (5th class) fire hazard.
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast warns that under such conditions, dry grass can catch fire in a matter of seconds, even from a cigarette butt left.
“Therefore, we urge citizens to be extremely careful with fires in open areas, as well as when cleaning homesteads. First of all, do not burn dry grass and garbage, do not light an open fire near buildings, do not scatter cigarette butts on dry grass litter.” , – rescuers emphasize.
