A grenade from the Second World War was found in a flower garden in Truskavets
Last night, a report was received that an object resembling an obsolete munition had been found in Truskavets on Sahaidachnoho Street, Drohobych district. The dangerous find was in a flower garden near an apartment block.
Experts who arrived at the scene determined that it was an RG-42 hand grenade from the Second World War.
This morning, the sappers of the 2nd Special Rapid Response Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have already destroyed this munition according to the established procedure.
❗️ Even obsolete munitions remain deadly.
Do not endanger yourself: do not touch, carry, disassemble or throw the ammunition under any circumstances – it is very dangerous!
Immediately report a dangerous find by calling 101 or 102.
