Mathema, an online maths school for children, is launching a new educational project – a free online summer camp called Introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
This training event will take place online from 1 to 26 July and is suitable for children aged 13 to 17. The course consists of 8 interactive online lectures that will help children take their first steps into the world of artificial intelligence (AI).
The camp programme is aimed at providing children with basic knowledge of AI, teaching them how to use language models, generate images and videos using modern tools. Special attention is paid to the connection between AI and mathematics, which will help participants understand how mathematical knowledge is used to develop AI systems.
The course is designed to:
– provide basic knowledge about AI and its principles;
– show the connection between AI and mathematics and demonstrate how mathematical methods are used to create AI;
– develop creativity, logical thinking and problem-solving skills in children;
– teach how to use language models to generate text, translate languages and create various content;
– introduce tools for generating images and videos using AI.
In addition, children will have the opportunity to develop their own projects using the knowledge gained during the course. This will help them not only to deepen their understanding of AI but also to develop practical skills in the field of modern technologies.
