The young Kruty residents received a certificate of secondary education and a badge that they can wear during their future service in uniform.
The ceremony was attended by the regional and city authorities, deputies, as well as a delegation of the school’s partners, the General Povilas Plekhavicius Cadet Lyceum from Kaunas, Lithuania, headed by the director Richardas Žilaitis, and invited guests from the Husar Military High School in Wroclaw, Poland.

The Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian project “Fighting Brotherhood” is dedicated to common historical figures and events of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the early 17th century, including joint military campaigns against the Moscow Kingdom and the Ottoman Empire. The project participants created an educational and cognitive online resource that combines web design technologies and ArcGIS StoryMaps interactive storytelling mapping systems.
The project participants were awarded certificates of appreciation and gratitude by the Director of the NATO Information and Documentation Centre at the NATO Representation to Ukraine.
On behalf of the Lviv Regional Council, the participants were greeted by the acting chairman of the regional council, Yuriy Kholod, who wished all the bright ideas and the greatest victory to our people.
“Today you are graduates of the military lyceum, and many of you will definitely link your future lives with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other security agencies of the state. You are a role model for us, you are the future of Ukraine, its defence, honour, and a guarantee of the restoration and development of a great state. I am proud of you. Of your achievements, your strength of spirit. I believe in you. I believe that we will defeat Russia and its army, that we will rebuild Ukraine.
Remember that no one can defeat a nation of freedom-loving and brave Cossacks. The spirit of heroes and knights that lives in your hearts is invincible.
May your knowledge and skills, your enthusiasm and professionalism serve you and Ukraine well to defeat the enemy, to rebuild and prosper the country. Win and move forward! Reach for the top and make your dreams come true!
May you have a happy life! And may the Holy Virgin, whom the Cossacks have chosen as their patroness, protect you and your families! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!” Yuriy Kholod said in his speech.
