The majority of schoolchildren of the Lviv City Territorial Community will have winter vacation from December 25. The vacation will last approximately 2-3 weeks.
The decision about when to go on vacation and how long it will last is made by each school independently. Since the educational process lasts the same amount of time for everyone, the end of the semester in schools will also be different.
“Educational institutions independently approve the structure of the academic year. As an education department, we only receive information from all schools about how they organize the educational process,” explains Andriy Zakaliuk, head of the Lviv Education Department.
