On September 2, Lviv will celebrate Vietnam Day. The events are timed to the 77th anniversary of the country’s independence and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Ukraine.
Therefore, the Embassy of Vietnam in Ukraine planned the Museum named after Sheptytskyi (Svobody prospect, 20) several thematic events. Including:
– 15:00 – Presentation of the Ukrainian edition of the Vietnamese book “Luk Van Tien” by Nguyen Dinh Thieu. This year marks the 200th anniversary of his birth.
– 17:00 – Opening of the Vietnamese exhibition together with the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
“I am convinced that this will contribute to the further strengthening of traditional friendly relations and the expansion of comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Ukraine in general, and with Lviv in particular,” said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Ukraine Nguyen Hong Thach.
