In the first quarter of this year, budget revenues increased in most communities of Lviv Oblast. Growth compared to January-March 2022 is observed in all except Trostyanetska, Pidberiztsivska, Rudkivska, Medenytska, Dobrosynsko-Magerivska, Peremyshlyanska and Pomeranian communities. According to the results of the first quarter, only two communities – Morshynska and Peremyshlyanska – did not ensure the fulfillment of planned tasks regarding the receipt of taxes to the general fund of the budget. In order to increase revenues to local budgets, the finance department of Lviv Oblast initiated a reconciliation of the property tax base between territorial communities and tax authorities.

A delegation from Brody’s sister city of Mogilno in Poland brought humanitarian aid to Ukraine for the fifth time. The delegation arrived led by the mayor of Mogilno Leshyk Dushynskyi. Polish friends delivered four bags of food and household chemicals to Zolochiv Oblast. Part of the cargo will be given to a specialized boarding school in Naguyevychy, the rest will be given to forced migrants in need and to the front lines.
Zolochiv City Library named after Ivan Franko is among the winners of “Book Grants”. She will receive books from Ukrainian publishers published in 2021-2023 for 30,000 hryvnias. From 975 applications, 30 public libraries of Ukraine were chosen to receive such a book gift. The literature should be delivered approximately by the beginning of June. The selection was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Publishers and Book Distributors in partnership with the Library Country Charitable Foundation.
The swimming pool in Novoyavorivsk will work all year round. The city council allocated funds for the repair of the heating system at FOK “Start”. The Honored Carpathian Song and Dance Ensemble of Ukraine “Verkhovyna” held a charity concert in Ryhtichy, Drohobytsky district.
