On Friday, December 20, the final meeting of the year of the Architectural and Urban Planning Council under the Department of Architecture and Urban Development of the Lviv Regional Military Administration was held. The council discussed amendments to the master plan of Sokilnyky and reviewed a new master plan for Koropuzh, both located in the Lviv district.
Amendments to Sokilnyky’s Master Plan
The current master plan for Sokilnyky was last updated in 2021. This time, the focus was on:
- managing traffic flow due to expanded residential and public development;
- planning aboveground and underground pedestrian crossings and noise protection structures;
- locating a proposed tram depot near Proektovana Street and Knyahyni Olhy Street (Lviv);
- determining sanitary classifications for enterprises and establishing protective zones.
New Master Plan for Koropuzh
Koropuzh’s master plan is being updated for the first time in over 50 years, with the last version dating back to 1971. Key topics of discussion included:
- adjusting the village’s boundaries according to Ukraine’s State Land Cadastre;
- finalizing engineering provisions, particularly sewerage infrastructure.
Recommendations by the Council
Both master plans were recommended for approval, provided the comments and suggestions raised during the meeting are addressed.
