The program is aimed at supporting and strengthening the capacity of territorial communities of Ukraine, in particular, Lviv region, implementation of a set of measures for local self-government officials, including information and consultation measures, in particular, in cooperation with central executive authorities.
The head of the regional office, Halyna Khrushchak, spoke about the work carried out in this direction recently. She informed about how community specialists cooperate with the program, announced the events that will take place in the near future.
One of the key issues during the meeting was the issue of preparing the budget for 2024, namely the impact of budget legislation on the stability of communities under martial law.
Community leaders had the opportunity to convey their thoughts and views on a number of topical issues, the problems that exist in communities, and their vision of the prospects for solving them. In particular, this is a question of the functioning of education, personnel policy, transport, the activities of the TsNAPs, management of land resources, etc.
“When preparing our products for communities, it is very important for us to understand how they live, what is happening to them, what their need for certain resources is,” said Halyna Khrushchak.
