They want to spend almost UAH 91,000,000 there. This is reported by the tender website.
Tender for the purchase of services for the reconstruction of the stadium on the street. Priozerna, 20 in the city of Novoyavorivsk, Yavoriv district, appeared back in May. The Novoyavoriv City Council indicated UAH 91,530,946 as the expected cost.
LLC “BUDIVELNA CORPORATION “RSG” won the tender. The results were announced in June. The company will fulfill the order a little cheaper – for UAH 90,182,693.
As Novoyavorivsk Mayor Volodymyr Matselyukh later explained the multimillion-dollar tender on Facebook:
Regarding the reconstruction of the stadium on St. Priozerna, 20 in Novoyavorivsk. This is a project that was developed even before the beginning of the full-scale invasion, according to calculations, it costs 91,530,946.00 UAH.
Do we have that kind of money now? Of course not. Was it necessary to announce the tender now? Yes of course.
The current legislation allows to announce a tender, even if there is no budget for the project. We signed an agreement for the reconstruction of the stadium for 3 years with the hope that during this time some appropriate grant or state program will be found.
In fact, we have a ready-made project, all documentation, and as soon as we find money for implementation, we will be able to start work immediately. This is the reason why the Novoyavoriv City Council announced the tender.
There is no money in the budget, no one is going to allocate millions from the local budget for stadiums, but there is a desire to prepare something for the future, God forbid, for the near future.
