Two more ambulances were sent to the front as part of the “1000 Freedom Cars” initiative

They were repaired and equipped by benefactors to hand over to defenders defending Kharkiv Oblast

Today, November 28, within the framework of the initiative of the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytsky “1000 cars of freedom”, two ambulances were handed over to the soldiers in Kharkiv.

“The Lviv Regional Military Administration has become a platform where good things are constantly being done. Thanks to everyone who helps implement the initiative, equips and transfers cars. 65 emergency medical vehicles have already been sent to the front through the Lviv region. Only together we can do such important things! Only together we will be able to win!” – stressed the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

The cars were repaired by the charity fund of the Doskich family. According to philanthropist Yuriy Doskich, they are planning to repair seven “fast” cars in total.

“We decided to support Maksym Kozytskyi’s initiative “1000 Freedom Cars” and repair seven ambulances for our defenders, two of them armored. We carry out major repairs, replace engines and buy everything necessary: equipment and inventory. Now the process continues, we are glad that the first 2 cars are going to Kharkiv region,” he emphasized.

Military serviceman Roman Merzlikin is engaged in the transfer of cars to the Kharkiv Region. He notes that the need for front-line vehicles is very high.

“Thanks to the support of our Lviv friends, we have already received several cars. For example, three jeeps were sent to boys and girls a month ago. They are already helping to carry out combat tasks. Now cars are in great need, they break down, they are constantly under fire. Therefore, these two “fast” ones will definitely come in handy at the front,” Roman Merzlikin emphasized.

The head of the Lviv regional center of emergency medical aid and disaster medicine Andriy Vasko spoke in more detail about the transfer of “ambulance” from the Lviv region.

“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have been transporting and equipping cars. As of today, 65 cars have been allocated from the balance of the center, some of them are old models – VAZs, Gazelles, 10 – new models. The vehicles we handed over today are Class B vehicles. They are fully equipped to provide resuscitation support. The center’s priority is to provide the Armed Forces with everything necessary, so each of us is doing as much as possible in our place,” Andrii Vasko said.
