These days, a meeting of the Youth Council took place within the walls of the Drohobytsk City Council. In the hall of the town hall, active and caring representatives of the youth gathered, representing various educational institutions of the city. The purpose of the meeting is the re-election of the leadership of the Youth Council of Drohobych.
Oleksandra Pashko, head of the family and youth department, who initiated the event, greeted all meeting participants. According to her, high hopes and expectations are placed on the youth of any city today. The most important of them is the development of the country and its development after the victory. In addition, local self-government bodies also have their hopes for young people – because only in joint synergy can you create, change and implement many bright ideas and plans.
Since the primary goal of the meeting was to elect a new chairman of the Youth Council, this process became key during the meeting. Two candidates applied for the new head of the Youth Council – Vitalina Danilets, a student of the Vasyl Barvinsky Drohobytsy Music Vocational College, and Lev Boyko, a student of the College of Oil and Gas.
The attendees elected the new head of their body by open voting.
With the majority of votes, young people supported Vitalina Danilets, a student of the Drohobytsk Music Vocational College.
Vitalina is an active member of the Youth Council, in which she has been for several years. According to her, today the task of the city’s youth is to be united, support the soldiers and work for a common victory, as well as take care of the national-patriotic education of the younger generation and active leisure.
In addition to the election of the head of the Youth Council, the leadership of the board was also re-elected. In particular, the following deputies of Vitalina Danilets were appointed in various directions: the volunteer department – Vitaliy Chapovskyi, the organizational department – Lev Boyko, the information department – Mykhailo Temnychenko, the public relations department – Mykhailo Sypa, the youth initiative development department – Alina Siletska.
We should add that before the re-election, the head of the Youth Council of Drohobych was Sofia Flyak.
