Women from Lviv became champions of the Junior Fencing World Cup
The Ukrainian epee team, which includes two women from Lviv, became the winner of the Junior World Cup, which took place on January 4-5 in the Italian city of Udine.
The Ukrainian team, represented by two representatives of the Lviv Fencing Academy, Anna Maksymenko and Alina Dmtruk, as well as Emily Konrad and Oleksandra Romanova, won the title of champions of the epee fencing competition.
On the way to the “gold”, the Ukrainian women defeated China (45:42), Hungary (41:40) and Poland (45:42), and in the final with a minimal advantage they defeated the Italian women (33:32).
