Border Guards Discover Attempt to Illegally Import E-Cigarette Liquid
At the Shehyni checkpoint, border guards from the 7th Carpathian Detachment, based on information from the detachment’s operatives, discovered and prevented an attempt to illegally import 900 bottles of liquid for refilling e-cigarettes. The preliminary value of the discovered goods is approximately 500,000 UAH.
Details of the Incident
During the inspection of a Scania bus with Czech registration, undeclared cargo was found in the luggage compartment – 30-ml bottles of flavored smoking liquid. The vehicle’s driver reported that he picked up the goods in Poland and was supposed to deliver them to Lviv.
