On Monday, inspectors of the Road Safety Department will begin a spring commission inspection of roads in Lviv region. The inspection will last until May 2.
This was reported to Holos Sokalshchyny by the Patrol Police of the Lviv region.
This inspection will determine the necessary amount of repair work, measures to eliminate deficiencies in the operational maintenance of the road network. Potholes, subsidence, rutting of the roadway, roadsides, sidewalks, visibility of traffic control equipment, markings, and street lighting will be recorded.
Special attention will be paid to:
🚨 availability of traffic control equipment in places of concentration of traffic accidents and in places of automatic recording of traffic violations;
🚨 availability of lighting and maintenance of unregulated pedestrian crossings;
🚨 areas adjacent to the territories of children’s and educational institutions.
All deficiencies identified during the inspection will be recorded in the relevant acts and patrol officers will issue binding orders (requirements) with specific deadlines for eliminating such deficiencies.
