Interactive classics for children: The Organ Hall in Lviv invites the youngest visitors to concerts

Play musical instruments, conduct an improvised orchestra or dance to a waltz: the Lviv Organ Hall invites children and their parents to interactive concerts of classical music “Playing with Mozart”, which will take place on May 13 and 20.

In May, the Lviv Organ Hall launches a special interactive program for children “Playing with Mozart”. This is a special concert where children are not only listeners, but also active participants in the action. The program is designed so that every little visitor can play a musical instrument, dance a waltz and even conduct a mini-orchestra.

At the concert, children will get to know the masterpieces of world classics – the works of Edvard Grieg, Johann Strauss, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach and Mykola Leontovich.

Also, only at this concert, children will hear one of the largest and most powerful organs of Ukraine, on which Svitlana Pozdnysheva and Olga Striletska will play a duet. And the host of the concert, Ihor Necheporenko, will complement the performance of the musicians with fun and witty jokes and interesting facts.

“Playing with Mozart” concerts are designed for children from 6 to 9 years old, have a short (45 minutes), dynamic program that unobtrusively and in the form of a game introduces young visitors to the classics. In this format of concerts, adults are listeners, and children are co-performers alongside professional musicians.

Tickets for the first four concerts, which will take place on May 13 and 20 at 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., are already on sale. The number of places is limited.

In the event of an air alert, the concert will be interrupted, and guests will be asked to move to a safe place.
