The State Archive of the Lviv region has launched an online exhibition “Development of sports on the territory of the Lviv region”.
This was announced by the press service of the archive on the official Facebook page.
“At the beginning of the 20th century, Lviv played an important role in the development of sports, because there were many sports associations here. The sport of this period was really a unique and popular phenomenon,” said the director of the archive, Iryna Martens.
In addition, the state archive of the Lviv region has ensured the operation of two reading rooms in the city of Lviv for all those who wish to do so, at the following addresses: st. Podvalna, 13 and St. Buika, 4. Visitors can access the reading rooms by prior appointment by e-mail: archive.lviv@gmail.com or through the DALO electronic resource.
