The initiative of representatives of the “Plast” organization to create a shelter for travelers in honor of Taras Havrylyshyn was discussed the day before in Lviv OVA with the participation of Oleksandr Kulepin, deputy head of OVA.
Vasyl Pryndak, director of the “Skolivski Beskydy” NPP, on the territory of which the shelter is planned to be built, says that there are no objections to such an initiative and it coincides with the planned activities of the park. The participants of the event agreed to meet at the shelter construction site. Familiarization with the territory will help to correctly design a tourist object, the prototype of which should be a simple village house.
Taras Havrylyshyn himself once had the idea of building a mountain shelter on Mount Parashka. Now his comrades want to implement this idea in memory of the Hero.
“It is important for us not only to build this shelter, but also to tell as much as possible about Taras and, in general, about the heroism of our soldiers during the war,” shares Yuliya Gvozdovych, a representative of the “Plast” organization.
We should add that Taras Havrylyshyn joined Plast in 1997. Belonged to the 15th Pavel Polubotka youth club in Lviv, and later to the 25th club of the Chornomortsi USP named after St. Nicholas.

A long-term active instructor of all areas of practical stratification. One of the main instructors of marine layering, in particular in sailing, water travel, pioneer, cartography, self-loading.
A member of the SPAS Cossack Seagull contingent, in particular, the organizer of sea formation trips along the Black Sea to Istanbul and training trips along the Dnipro River. For many years of spreading the ideology of Ukrainian seafaring, he was awarded the medal of the 100th anniversary of the flag of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He was engaged in laying mountain routes, was a tourist guide in the Carpathians. For the past few years, he has been professionally engaged in the construction of modern boats of various types. An active plastun senior, he did not stop working with youth until the last days.
In the first days of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with other comrades from the Chornomortsi camp. He served in the 45th separate artillery brigade. Died in battles in the southern direction, during the liberation of Ukrainian lands from the Russian invaders.
