Last Friday, January 13, the brass band “Lviv Fanfare” and the group of majorettes “Extravaganza” of the children’s art school No. 5 of Lviv opened the largest in Europe and one of the largest in the world international festivals of military brass bands Bremen Tattoo 2023 in Germany.
“Shows take place in multi-thousand sports arenas with the participation of Presidential, Royal, military and professional marching brass bands. Therefore, it is incredibly nice that the children from the Lviv Music School have passed the qualification and have the opportunity to perform on the same stage as the maestro of wind art.
In total, our teams will take part in 7 concerts in various German cities, and the next one will take place on January 20-22 at the Musikparade 2023 festival, the city’s culture department said.
The conductor and artistic director of the brass band “Lviv Fanfare” is the director of art school No. 5 Andriyan Leskiv. The choreographer of the team of majorettes “Feeriya” is a teacher of art school No. 5 Vera Leshchyshyn.
