The CE network of education centers with the support of UNICEF invites everyone to join free group art classes using art therapy techniques
During July-August, art classes will be held in a number of settlements of Lviv MTG. The duration of one lesson is 2-2.5 hours. Both children and adults can join. Materials necessary for classes will be provided on site.
Art therapy is a technique in psychology that involves interaction with the help of art and includes such areas as: creating works of fine art; literary creativity; treatment using a creative approach to natural objects; dance therapy; music therapy; drama therapy; creating dolls; keeping notebooks or diaries; epistolary communication with a specialist. Classes are suitable for everyone, not only those who can draw. After all, the therapist’s attention is not on the result, but on the personality of the participant, his views on the world, value system, stereotypes and psychological problems.
The first classes will take place already this week:
· July 21, 3:00 p.m. — Lviv, library #15 (Povitryana St., 88)
· July 22, 10:00 a.m. — Pidbirtsi, Pidbirtsiv Lyceum (12 Prosvity St.)
· July 23, 3:00 p.m. — Zashkiv, People’s House (110 Konovaltsia St.)
Classes will be held within the project “Together | your support is near” in partnership with the IBF “Partnership “Every Child”.
