In honor of the Day of Unity of Ukraine, celebrated on January 26, a significant cultural event took place at the People’s House – a charitable concert titled ‘United Ukraine: from heart to heart’. The event gathered a large number of guests and contributed to raising funds for an important cause – the total amount collected during the event was 4540 hryvnias, which will be used for supplies for drone production.
The concert served as a platform for performances by leading talents of the city, including the National Chamber Orchestra ‘Intermezzo’ and a trio of bandurists consisting of Iryna Stelmakh, Anastasiia Heiko, and Oksana Heiko. The evening also featured a variety of vocal groups such as ‘Chervona Ruta’, ‘Apelsyn’, and ‘Tvorychi’, as well as dance ensembles ‘Modern’, ‘Pervotsvit’, and ‘Medea’.
A special event of the evening was the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the People’s Choir ‘Prosvita’. Under the leadership of Olha Babska, the collective received awards for its contribution to the cultural life of the city, including certificates from the city council, the department of culture, and the People’s House.
