Funds were collected at charity concerts and a performance.
During charity performances, the residents of Murovanska and Zhovtanetska communities collected almost 43,000 hryvnias for the needs of servicemen.
Pupils of the Murovansky Lyceum performed in front of their fellow villagers with the premiere performance of the children’s fairy tale opera “Thumble” based on Andersen’s fairy tale of the same name. The performance was for charity, the children donated more than 15,000 hryvnias for the needs of the soldiers.
And in the village of Kamianopol, a charity literary and artistic evening “Shevchenko was and will be forever, as long as we live on earth” was held, at which 6,100 hryvnias were collected. The funds will be used to buy things necessary for military personnel.
Also, 21,600 hryvnias were collected by the members of the People’s Amateur Choir named after Yevhen Kozak from the village of Velike Kolodno of the Zhovtanets community. This weekend, the choristers visited the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God in the village of Horpin and the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the village of Vyriv with the concert program “God, save Ukraine”.
“Thank you to the community for praying together and collecting funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine! All the funds will be used to buy the necessary things for our defenders!”, – shared the members of the People’s Amateur Choir named after Yevhen Kozak.
