Despite the significant debts of heating companies, the heating season will start on time.
During the entire interheating period, specialists of JSC “Lvivgaz” worked for maximum readiness for the new heating season: during this period, the employees of the control instrument inspection group checked hundreds of kilometers of gas networks every week, and maintenance of gas distribution points was carried out.
On the eve of the heating season, the load is expected to increase, and the employees are doing their best to unseal the meters, and with it the supply of heat, as soon as possible: “There are about 600 points in the budget area that must be included before the start of the heating season. There are currently 330 points left to include. Every day, employees turn on 30-40 objects. This is a long and time-consuming process,” says Pavlo Serban, head of the Lviv branch of JSC “Lvivgaz”.
In the heating season of 2022-23, thermal utility enterprises enter with debts of more than 240 million hryvnias. The largest debtors are the Lviv thermal power companies – “Lvivteploenergo” and “Zaliznychneteploenergo”, whose total debt, as of November 13, is about 220 million.
Gas generators ensure the most efficient operation of networks to prevent any interruptions. At the same time, we observe that the state of calculations for gas distribution in Lviv region is approximately the same as in Kharkiv region, a large part of which was occupied. Whereas the most difficult regions, namely Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv region, Chernihiv region and Sumy region, have a significantly higher rate of calculations,” says Oleg Vintsyuk, director of commercial JSC “Lvivgaz”.
Payment for gas distribution will allow us to continue to carry out routine work, scheduled inspections and repairs, purchase materials, and eliminate emergency situations, ensuring that work is carried out throughout the heating season.
