This year has been hyper-difficult for all of us. The LKP “Lvivavtodor” team had many ambitious plans for 2022, but the war put many of them “on pause”. Actually, when martial law was introduced in Ukraine, contractors one by one began to announce the onset of force majeure and the suspension of work on all facilities where Lvivavtodor LLP is the customer. In the summer, it was gradually possible to “thaw” and activate part of these works. Here are the results for 2022!
P. Orlyk Street has become completely pedestrianized
The main works on the reconstruction of St. P. Orlyk is actually completed. Repairs were carried out in parts, accordingly, traffic was opened in stages. In particular, on November 16, the last section – from the street Mazepy to building No. 2 on the street. P. Orlyk.
In general, as part of the reconstruction of St. P. Orlyka, almost 1 km of new road surface was made, all communications were replaced, parking pockets for 98 cars were arranged, 46 trees were planted, etc. Near the children’s hospital, parking for 62 cars and a serpentine “path” for people with disabilities should be arranged.
On the street Pekarska became a new public space
As part of the capital repair of St. Pekarska this year marked the road and arranged a public space. A new recreation area has appeared on the site of the dismantled MAF near the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Z. Gzhitskyi. 5 benches were installed, an area of 119 square meters was paved with tiles. m. and landscaping was carried out. As part of the reconstruction of St. Asphalting of the last two sections of Shevchenko has begun
Shevchenko Street is one of the largest road arteries of the city and connects traffic flows from different directions. Therefore, the continuation of work on this object was a priority. Already in May, it was possible to restore the last stage of the reconstruction of the street. Shevchenko.
What do we have as of today? The section from the street was opened for traffic. Zaliznychna to st. Yatskova, at the same time the intersection of St. Shevchenko – str. Yatskova still remains closed. Currently, work is being carried out on the last two sections – from the street Yatskov to St. Bortnyanskyi and from St. Bortnyanskyi to st. Yaroslav the Wise. Actually, on December 24, the contractor began laying the bottom layer of asphalt concrete on both of these sections of the street. Along the entire length of the carriageway from the street. Yatskov to St. Bortnyanskyi, the bottom layer of asphalt concrete was completely laid (length – 235 m), from the street Bortnyanskyi to st. Yaroslav the Wise, the bottom layer was laid on a 70 m long section.

Also this year, the emergency retaining wall near the Organ Hall was dismantled and a new one was installed in its place (a “green slope” will be made on top of it). Actually, on December 19, the traffic lane along this retaining wall, which was closed for almost 4 months due to the above-mentioned works, was opened for traffic. As part of the reconstruction of St. Farmhouse in the area of St. Demnyansk made two U-turns for more comfortable passage of large vehicles. To complete the reconstruction, it remains to build the stairs to the Sykhiv bridge, as well as to plant green spaces, in particular, the project provides for the planting of about 450 trees.
