Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 24-year-old resident of Lviv was reported on suspicion of organizing the illegal transportation of two people across the state border (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
According to the investigation, the suspect set up a scheme of illegal transportation of conscripts of Ukraine across the state border for a fee. He estimated his services at $ 1,000 per person for wanting to go abroad in the direction of the Republic of Poland.
The defendant was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine after the transfer of the entire amount of illegal benefits for two people.
The suspect is currently being held in custody.
The offenses were exposed by prosecutors of the regional prosecutor’s office together with the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Oblast and the SBU Office in Lviv Oblast.
