If your child goes missing, call the 102 hotline. When talking to the operator, tell them the age, gender, special features, what they were wearing, what they had with them, their cell phone number and any other information that will help in the search, and be sure to provide the police with a photo of the child.
Since the beginning of 2024, the police units of Lviv region have received 74 reports of missing minors, 36 of which concerned minors.
All children were found, returned to their place of residence and handed over to their parents or legal guardians. Law enforcement officers held preventive conversations with the children and their relatives.
The police urge: communicate with your children, know their friends and interests. Keep in touch with your child regularly during the day, and keep young children in sight and never leave them unattended.
