Since the beginning of the year, 30 dead people, including 1 child, have been found in the reservoirs of the region.
On August 13, at 2:26 p.m., rescuers received a report that near the village of A man born in 1956 drowned in a local lake in Buniv, Yavoriv district.
“The man’s body was brought to the surface by the rescue-diving service, without signs of violent death,” the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region informed.
Since the beginning of the year, 30 dead people, including 1 child, have been found in reservoirs in the region. Emergency services units rescued 4 people, including 3 children.

Rescuers of the region once again appeal to citizens and emphasize that during recreation near water bodies it is prohibited to:
swim in places that are not designated by local authorities and are not equipped for bathing people;
climb on warning signs, buoys, beacons;
jump into the water from boats, boats, bridges, structures not intended for this;
bathe alone;
consume alcoholic beverages before and during bathing;
to allow dangerous games in the water, which are associated with the restriction of the movement of arms and legs;
bathing children unaccompanied by adults.
“All these rules and recommendations indicate the importance of a responsible attitude to recreation on water bodies. We must remember that safety and the safety of others lies in our hands. Let every vacation on the water be a pleasant and safe experience for you and your loved ones,” – emphasized the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
