The decision of the Commercial Court of the Lviv region satisfied the lawsuit of the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office, filed in the interests of the state in the person of the Skoliv City Council, against one of the local limited liability companies. It is about terminating the lease agreement and returning the land plot to the territorial community: the area is 1 ha, the cost is over UAH 9.9 million.
It was established that in 2014 the company leased a large number of land plots in the Lviv region intended for the construction of alternative energy facilities. However, the tenants, contrary to the terms of the contract, did not build wind power plants and did not pay rent for the use of the land.
In addition, the decision of the Commercial Court of the Lviv Region satisfied the claim of the Sambir District Prosecutor’s Office in the interests of the Lviv Regional State Administration against another business association. The demand is to terminate the lease agreement for a land plot with an area of 8 hectares and a value of almost UAH 54 million, concluded in 2019.
The plot, located outside the village of Ilnyka, Sambir district, was transferred to a tenant for the construction and maintenance of a wind power plant.
The reason for the prosecutor’s appeal to the court was the systematic non-payment of rent.
