One killed and two injured, including a 13-year-old girl, in a road accident in Lviv region – police establish circumstances of the incident
The road accident occurred on 21 June, at around 11.15am, in the village of Lybokhora, Stryi district.
As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, the driver of a Hornet RS 150 motorcycle, a 47-year-old resident of the district, collided with a cyclist, a 13-year-old local resident.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene of the accident as a result of his injuries. His passenger, a 17-year-old local resident, and a female cyclist were injured and hospitalised.
Investigators of the Transport Crimes Investigation Department of the Lviv Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the rules of road safety).
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
