The other day, we received a report about an accident in Malekhiv. The applicant reported that while overtaking, the BMW car pulled over to the side of the road, as a result of which the damaged bumper caught stones that hit the windshield of the Nissan Note car.
Kermanych drove further in the direction of Lviv. The man told the police the number plate of the car. On their way to the call, the police found the aforementioned vehicle on Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street.
During communication with the 54-year-old driver, signs of alcohol intoxication were found in him. The Drager device showed a positive result — 1.43 ppm.
The inspectors drew up two protocols against the driver: according to part 1 of Art. 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) and Art. 124 (Violation of traffic rules that led to an accident) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
